History is full of sounds — if you know how to listen! In this sound-filled session, kids will explore how people used noise to communicate across distance and time. From the tapping of Morse code to the echo of a drum, the whoosh of a seashell “ocean,” or the whisper of a cup phone, children will experiment with ways people once shared messages, stories, and secrets. With lots of listening, making, and playing, kids will discover the surprising ways sound connects us to the past.
