History Sensory Wednesdays: Halloween Then & Now

Wednesday, Oct 22, 2025 at 10:00AM

Souris Valley Museum

Ever wonder how Halloween used to be celebrated? In this playful and spooky session, kids will explore the evolution of Halloween — from early traditions like apple bobbing and lanterns to today’s costumes and candy. They’ll hear stories, create classic decorations, and even try out an old-fashioned Halloween game or two. Through sounds, smells, and sights from the past, kids will discover how this holiday has changed — and what has stayed delightfully the same.

October 22nd, 2025 | Ages 6-10 | 10am-12pm | $10
