The Day of Caring is an opportunity for a community to come together as a group to make a difference to individuals or groups that need a little help. It is a special chance to interact with others, whether you are painting, cleaning, landscaping or entertaining. It’s about more than hammers, paint brushes & rakes though; it’s building relationships and building our community. Day of Caring brings everyone closer together. Something that benefits us all.
Day of Caring is a win-win for both volunteers and the community. Agencies, local groups and individuals benefit from projects that might not otherwise be completed for a multitude of reasons. Individual volunteers and employees from workplaces and organizations, demonstrate the impact of volunteerism within our community.
